The Page Options tab controls the crawl time page processing and run-time page display (I know a little awkwardly grouped).
If you go Page Options -> Search Time and check Subsearch it should appear. If you want to edit what the queries the subsearches
fire go to Search Sources and scroll down to Add Subsearches/ Current Subsearches.
